New Production Facility

Nearly 4 years since completing our new HQ, Distribution and Ceramics Centre Valentine Clays is excited to announce that construction is due to start next week on our new Production Facility. The 1,651 sqm building will enable the company to meet the demands currently displayed within the industry and to hep to continue our growth plans.

These plans enable the continued relocation and expansion of Valentines Clays and allow its presently dispersed activities in the city to be brought together at a single site. The warehouse and offices are now operational and this new facility will allow the next phase of production to take place on the same site in accordance with the long-term business plan.

Local company Itium construction has been appointed to construct the clay production building, covered clay storage pens and covered service yard. With assistance from other local companies such as Project Manager Prosurv, Artchitects Hulme Upright, Services Engineers Hpokins Coats, and Structural Engineers C2C Consulting.

Valentine Clays has an ambitious expansion plan and the continued development of the Fenton site is vital to this and the aim for the company to continue to increase sales, production and storage capacity, create new processes to help develop new products, increase export sales and increase online and shop sales.

Hannah Ault, Director of Valentine Clays, said: “We have worked extremely hard over the past few year’s focusing upon our business growth and it’s exciting to be in a position to complete our next stage of our expansion plans that are aimed at helping our industry to grow.

“Our new production facility will enable us to fulfil the demands that we are currently seeing from our customers worldwide.

“Although COVID has proved challenging for our business we have also seen positive sale increases over previous months, everyone seems to be making from home, and it has also enabled us to focus on restructure and growth.
