We are proud to be able to support and recognise upcoming students at their graduate degree shows across the country. These students are the future of the ceramics industry and we feel that it is extremely important to encourage them, and we look forward to following their growing career and professional development with interest.

This year awards were presented to:

CANTERBURY CHRIST CHURCH UNIVERSITY

STUDENTSHIP PRIZE FOR CERAMICS AWARDED TO:
ROSIE CLAY

Rosie made a lovely range of hand-built pieces using seed pods as one of her sources of inspiration.  She has also been accepted onto a postgraduate teaching course specialising in art next year.  However she is hoping to continue making ceramics at the same time and once her studies are over. Hopefully in her role as a teacher she will be able to inspire children in the future to become excited about the prospects of working in clay.
