Introduction to a new clay
In January 2024 we will be selecting 10 people who applied to be in our clay testing panel to test a wonderful new clay.
The Terrazzo Stoneware is a buff-coloured hand-building clay with a coarse texture.
What makes it different, is the addition of whiter cordierite, enabling a pleasing colour contrast.
Our 2024 Calendar
Our calendar for 2024 features inspirational potters hand-picked from a competition we ran in October.
We are very proud of the finished result and calendars will be available to buy from £3.95 +vat here
Price Increase
January sees a price increase across our clay range. As you know, we always try to absorb as many raw material price increases as possible throughout the year, but there inevitably comes a time when we must reluctantly pass these increases on. Our next price increase comes into effect on the 2nd January 2024. You can view the new price list here.
Website Evolution
The final quarter of 2023 has been filled with research, strategising and planning the evolution of our website.
In January next year, we see these plans begin to take shape .Our primary goal is a focus on the customer journey and ease of using the site regardless of technical ability.
Tech Time
This months tech time is centered on casting slips and the process of deflocculation.
Twilight Market
Our November market on site in conjunction with LoveClay saw over 1500 visitors.
