I create pottery forms & sculpture inspired by the Staffordshire Moorlands & Viking cultural artefacts. The choice of colours & glazes, I use in my pottery are strongly influenced by the wilderness & landscape of the Staffordshire Moorlands & Scandinavia. I produce pottery in a variety of dark stoneware clays, using thrown or slab building techniques. Using the dark hues of the stoneware clay as a base. I decorate using sgraffito or using object using objects found in nature.
