I have recently retired from working in various education settings including teaching ceramics to special needs and adult students at Adult Education Colleges.

My ceramic pieces are all individually hand built. I am inspired by old Victorian and Medieval book illustrations. Alice in Wonderland figures being favourites. I love to create characters with strong personalities, portrayed through exaggerated expressions and features adorned in detailed clothing of the time. Green men, dragons, gargoyles, witches and other quirky characters also fire my imagination. House names, numbers, commemorative plaques can be designed and personalised to suit.  I hope my work makes you smile!
