Sliphouse Operatives
Full time: 40.5 hours (Mon to Thurs 8am – 5pm & Fri 8am – 3pm).
Holidays: 33 days including statutory.
Location: Birches Head Road, Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 6NB.
Job Purpose: To support the ceramic manufacturing process in ensuring the Valentine Clays bodies and slips are produced ready to be supplied to our customers.
Accountabilities:
- Ensuring products are produced efficiently following instructions from production managers
- Working alongside other Sliphouse Operatives, Sliphouse Specialists & Production/Technical Managers
Responsibilities:
- Helping with the manufacturing process to produce the relevant clay bodies and slips
- Ensuring health & safety is always adhered to when operating machinery
- Working with a team to achieve efficient distribution processes
- Comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Assisting Works/Production Managers who will give guidance producing products
