Laura works at Gaolyard Studios in St Ives where she throws and carves her pots. She trained at Wolverhampton university before working for potters such as Peter Beard and Penny Simpson. Laura then completed an Adopt a Potter funded apprenticeship at the Leach Pottery, before setting up on her own. She now teaches on the throwing course at the Leach.
