We are set to introduce Bistro Porcelain Casting Slip this June, the casting version of our popular Bistro Porcelain body, developed for makers who demand both beauty and performance in every piece.

Built on the same trusted principles as Bistro and enhanced with added alumina, this high-performance casting slip delivers up to forty percent greater strength than traditional porcelain slips, alongside increased resistance to thermal shock. The result is stronger, more durable cast ware designed to thrive in demanding hospitality environments while still offering the versatility artists and studio potters need.

Designed with production efficiency in mind, Bistro Porcelain Casting Slip has been formulated for clean draining with a consistent drain rate, providing a reliable and efficient casting experience from start to finish. Its smooth, velvety tactile finish brings a refined quality to every surface, making it ideal for contemporary tableware, functional ware, and expressive ceramic forms alike.

Firing between 1220 and 1250 degrees Celsius, Bistro Porcelain Casting Slip is compatible with a wide range of commercial porcelain and stoneware glazes, giving makers complete creative flexibility without compromising on strength, durability, or elegance.

The upcoming launch marks another step forward in our continued commitment to innovation within ceramics, combining technical performance with the practical demands of modern makers and hospitality professionals.

Whether producing refined hospitality ware or studio ceramics, Bistro Porcelain Casting Slip is designed to help work go further beautifully and reliably.

Launching June 2026.
