Pouring slips in ceramics are specially formulated liquid clay mixtures used to create uniform, hollow shapes by pouring them into plaster molds. These slips contain deflocculants, which reduce the amount of water needed, ensuring a smooth, fluid consistency that coats the mold evenly.
