Erin Lloyd

Erin is a North Wales-based potter who hand-throws miniature ceramics, using foraged iron ochre pigments from her family’s farm to reflect the region’s landscape. Raised on the land, she explores the connection between nature and humanity, drawing inspiration from lichens, fungi, trees, and wildflowers.

Her background as a Heritage Management Archaeologist informs her work, particularly her study of earth pigments, from Neolithic cave paintings to ancient dyes. Through her ceramics, she bridges past and present, allowing people to take home a piece of the Welsh landscape.

Influenced by East Asian pottery, Erin specializes in miniature forms, refining her craft by throwing small vessels off the hump.
