Michelle Lowe creates illustrated earthenware pots designed to enhance daily rituals, bringing warmth to shared meals and tea. Inspired by hedgerow plants and seasonal changes, her work evokes a nostalgic connection to nature and the joys of growing, cooking, and foraging.

Drawing from Scottish woodlands, she captures the cheerful shapes and colours of flowers, berries, and foliage. Most of her pieces are wheel-thrown, with some, like her quirky toast racks, hand-built from slabs. Her red earthenware is dipped in cream slip, decorated with brushed and trailed slips, and finished with sgraffito detailing. Through her ceramics, Michelle celebrates the simple beauty of nature in everyday life.
