Ruth Aislabie is the maker behind Fubsies, a female-run ceramics studio based in Bristol creating colourful, small-batch homeware designed to bring joy to the everyday. Working with Standard White Earthenware Casting Slip, Ruth combines techniques including casting, throwing, coiling and pinching before hand-painting her pieces with vibrant underglazes and intricate patterns. Often finished with touches of gold and pearl lustre, her playful ceramics are full of colour, detail and personality.
