We’re delighted to share some exciting news…
Valentine Clays has been selected as one of the businesses representing Staffordshire at the House of Commons this April, as part of the celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of Staffordshire Day.
This is a proud moment for us.
To stand alongside so many outstanding Staffordshire businesses and showcase the very best of what our county has to offer is a real honour. Staffordshire has long been at the heart of British ceramics, and we’re thrilled to be part of that story on such a prestigious stage.
Of course, we’ll be flying the flag for ceramics.
We’ll be bringing along some of the innovative clays we’ve developed over the past year. Materials that reflect both tradition and forward-thinking craftsmanship. But we’re not stopping there. We want to make this experience truly memorable.
So, we’re taking something a little more hands-on…
A pottery wheel.
Because we believe ceramics isn’t just something you talk about or show, it’s something you feel. The connection between hands, material, and motion is at the core of what we do, and there’s no better way to understand it than by giving it a go.
So to the MPs attending… be prepared.
You might just find yourself throwing your very first pot.
As we celebrate a decade of Staffordshire Day, we’re proud to champion the creativity, craftsmanship, and industry that define this remarkable county.
Here’s to the next 10 years and to keeping the spirit of ceramics alive, one piece at a time.
