With an exceptionally strong field of finalists, simply being shortlisted was an honour. To hear our name announced as the winner on the night was a proud moment for everyone at Valentine Clays and a fantastic recognition of the innovation, research and teamwork that continues to drive our business forward.
The award recognises the development of LoStone, our groundbreaking low-firing stoneware clay body that has challenged traditional thinking within the ceramics industry. Developed to offer significant energy savings while maintaining exceptional performance, LoStone represents years of research, technical expertise and collaboration across the business.
Innovation may begin with an idea, but bringing a product like LoStone to market takes the commitment of an entire team.
From research and development and production to quality control, sales, marketing, warehousing, logistics and customer service, every department has played a vital role in turning LoStone from concept into an award-winning product. The dedication, knowledge and hard work shown by colleagues across the business has been instrumental in its success.
This award is a reflection of that collective effort. It recognises not only the innovation behind LoStone, but also the people who work together every day to manufacture, test, promote and deliver it to customers across the UK and around the world.
