Description

LoStone Mid Fire Transparent Glaze is a clear glaze designed to let the natural character and colour of the clay beneath remain the focus. Ideal for showcasing the distinctive LoStone palette or adding a clear glazed finish over suitable decoration, it is a versatile studio essential.

Available in a 550ml brush-on bottle, Transparent has an overall firing range of 1080 -1220°C, with its finish influenced by firing conditions across the range.

Usage

Developed to work beautifully with LoStone, it can also be used on compatible porcelain and earthenware clay bodies. Transparent is fully intermixable with the coloured glazes in the collection and can also be layered, with a maximum of three coats in total. A reusable inner cap helps prevent leaks and keeps the glaze securely sealed between uses.
