PF700 (Porcelain White Stoneware) is a premium clay body developed in response to customer requests for a superior, white, porcelain-like clay that is more reliable and easier to work with than traditional porcelain.

Porcelain bodies are notoriously difficult due to their lack of plasticity and higher likelihood of cracking and warping. PF700 addresses these issues by providing a clay that is just as white and produces porcelain-like results, while maintaining the qualities of a good stoneware body.

Although it is not as translucent as porcelain, PF700 can achieve translucency in very thin cross-sections at high temperatures. Formulated from the purest, highest quality white clays, PF700 offers a porcelain-like appearance without the typical difficulties associated with working with porcelain, all at a lower cost.
