Sea-Mist is a delicate light blue stoneware casting slip with a cool, subtle character. Its soft colouring offers an understated alternative to traditional neutral clay bodies, lending itself beautifully to both functional and decorative ceramics.
Part of the award-winning LoStone range, Sea-Mist brings low-firing stoneware to slip casters. Fully vitrified at just 1180°C, it delivers the strength and durability associated with stoneware at a significantly lower firing temperature than traditional stoneware bodies.
Developed for reliable casting performance, Sea-Mist gives makers the freedom to create strong, vitrified stoneware forms through slip casting while benefiting from the lower firing temperatures at the heart of LoStone.
