Faye Sanders

Faye, a ceramicist based in the Isle of Man, creates miniature Manx thatched cottages, capturing the island’s architectural heritage. Each piece begins as a single, large open circle, thrown on the wheel and then carefully divided into individual cottages.

Inspired by the island’s traditional whitewashed homes, Faye adds intricate details, from textured thatched roofs to tiny windows and doors, preserving the charm of Manx architecture. Her process balances precision with creativity, ensuring each cottage has a unique, handcrafted feel.
